Fifth Annual Meeting

The Fifth Annual Meeting was again held at the Drake Hotel, with 250 surgeons in attendance, and membership rising to 160 members.
At the suggestion of the former MVSS President, Dr. James C. Stanley, the Charles C. Guthrie Award was established.

Fourth Annual Meeting

The Fourth Annual Meeting was held at the Netherland Plaza Hotel in Cincinnati, OH, and with the addition of new members during the meeting, MVSS had reached 137 members.
