When I was a resident I read an article titled “Experience with 1509 patients undergoing thoracoabdominal aortic operations” and I decided to go into vascular surgery.

My first job was at the Henry Ford Hospital which was rich with tradition and history of vascular surgery and deeply linked with MVSS through late Dr. D.Emerick Szilagyi and his associates. It was natural for me to join MVSS.
