MVSS Advanced Dialysis Practice Course for Vascular Surgeons

May 8-9, 2020
The University of Chicago Medical Center for Care and Discovery
Chicago, IL

The Midwestern Vascular Surgical Society is dedicated to research, science and education of its members. In 2017 the MVSS began hosting a small, collaborative, springtime course hosted by MVSS faculty members who are also key opinion leaders (KOL).

Previous courses have been resounding successes focusing on aneurysm disease, peripheral arterial disease, and venous disease.

In May of 2020 the Society is offering a hands-on approach designed for practicing vascular surgeons to assess and improve their approach to dialysis access management.

This course will offer comprehensive didactic sessions coupled with small group workshops. Eight hands-on workshops will provide an opportunity to become acquainted with the full breadth of available dialysis products. This interactive course will teach a tailor-made approach to dialysis management in terms of patient selection, approach, device selection, managing complications and radiation protection.

The 2020 Advanced Practice Course on Dialysis Access will be held in Chicago, May 8-9, 2020. Registration and Housing Information will be available in January.  Save the Date and plan to attend!

Sincerely,
